A Little about Me
My primary interest in the real estate buisness has been selling ski resort properties in the Loon Mountain area, my area of expertise has been land development, subdivision approval work, and waterfront permitting and building. Our involvement in second home marketing and selling spans 25 years, with thousands of succesful transactions. With the second home business and rental income property being a big part of my day to day activities I have completed hundreds of 1031 exchanges. I have always been very excited about meeting people who make their family time a priority and a big part of the buying decision. I grew up in Sudbury Massachusetts and attended Plymouth State College (now University), and skied Loon Mountain begining at the age of 12, my parents had a condo at the village of Loon Moutain, until they moved to Cape Cod. So I have been here for about 35 years, and have been a real estate professional for the last 25 years. My wife Vonni and I live on the Pemigewasset river in Woodstock and we enjoy kayaking, golfing and of course skiing together.
What Qualifies me to help you
I taught brokerage and appraisal for the institute of practicing real estate, and have spent the last 25 years working in the resort real estate business, with a concentration on Condominium development, subdivision design, the approval process and water front land permitting. I have worked with the Army corp of engineers, Department of environmental services, department of transportation,wetlands scientists, civil engineers, and surveyors.I have had advanced training in 1031 exchanges and have sold thousands on properties in my career as a real estate professional.I Have been involved in the designing and building of hundreds of homes and condominiums, from modulars to stick built to high rises and historic re-habs.
I am also the general manager of Alpine Lakes /Pro-Fab homes, we are affiliated with a canadian modular home company, and own the rights to the Grafton county region. I have helped customers design their floor plans and incorporate the family needs into some stunning homes. To date I have been involved in the set up and delivery of 25 homes. I believe being a land guy, who deals in second home properties I have a unique perspective on how best to arrange the plumbing to avoid possible freeze ups in vacation homes, south facing window to maximize solar gain, best locations for driveways wells and septic, for future walk-out lower levels. When you sell homes (which I have done for 25 years), you know how to sell, when you design and build homes you have a much better sense of the whole picture.
