The die-hard skiers were out on the slopes on this Wednesday morning...we were sucking up the good snow karma provided by the snow gun gods. Yes Virginia there is a Santa Claus - while nature hasn't provided the white stuff the man-made machines have been running every chance they get. With temps below freezing at night the trail count has slowing increased. If you have the chance to ski Loon mountain in Lincoln New Hampshire you wouldn't be disappointed. If you are looking for real estate in the region give me a call...I'll be in the office - after noon.
From the top of the Gondola ... with the northern white mountains as a beautiful back drop...11/28/12.
From the top of Walking Boss trail...lower walking Boss is open and I would guess, the upper section will be too.
From the top of Sunset...you can ski the North peak Chair...and the coverage is pretty darn good for November
One of the Crystal tree sculptures formed from the snow guns...its beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
A view of Mount Washington - New Hampshire's highest Peak at 6,300 feet...is always a nice sight to see while skiing at Loon Mountain. Hard to believe these two peaks are over 50 miles apart...but as the song says on a clear day you can see for ever.
The View of Franconia Notch taken from the top of Bear Claw Trail...just another stunning view from Loon Mt.
Lets get out and ski together sometime...Wear a Helmet, dress warm and be aware of skiers around you.
Have an Excellent day everyone.
