Getting Dark early, so I had to take one of my quick hikes after my Sunday Showings and came across a few nice shots. I hope to get out in the wood again before the snow settles in for the winter, Ski Season starts on Thanksgiving Week here in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. I hope you enjoy today's photos!

This was a Location of a local covered bridge way before my time long gone from this spot

Window to my World in Woodstock...say it with pictures

I have been doing this type of post a lot lately, but it's fall and it's absolutely beautiful in Northern New England this time of year. So I live in Woodstock New Hampshire, which is an hour north of the State Capital in Concord and just far enough away from most of the politicians and Massachusetts boarder jumpers to be considered life in the North country. Here are some of my favorite photos taken close by where I live.

The covered Bridge , mirror image reflections and a couple of Canadian Geese make for a nice composition.

Under the shade of a large oak tree the river slides quietly past.

A blue Sky Day looking north towards the Lafayette Mountain Range.

Just a hint of Color in this otherwise evergreen forest...the leaves are changing and should hit there peak around the First Day of Autumn September 22nd...Take a ride north and see the many nice views in New Hampshire.

Even when I roll into work the ride is enjoyable...the entrance ramp to the highway, it's almost too bad I only have one exit to travel before I get off to go to the office...5 miles isn't enough time to enjoy the ride.

This is my back yard, and my commute so why not make it today's White Mountain Photo Journey as well.

Photo diary today in my back yard 5/10/09...White Mountains in Spring

A Little photo journey in the yard today, wild flowers, dead trees, water and other treasures left behind after a Cold winter in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Assorted Wild Flowers growing in the back field.

The dead birch and oak trees are plentiful this year...but the mushrooms don't mind.

The Brook runs into the new pond (almost finished building ),then overflows into the Pemigewasset river

I don't know what kind or how old this car is, but it's in the woods beside my house.

The leaf canopy has started to open up finally, I'll have to thank my wife for kicking me outside today... I know you're not my mother but happy mothers day honey.
