Skiing is not over until the Fat Bunny sings.

Greetings from Loon Mountain,

'If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes.' That old New England  saying could not be more true this spring. Last week we were skiing & riding in T-shirts; this past Monday & Tuesday a manmade blizzard on the slopes was brewing outside my window. That's right, we fired up the snow guns to ensure some great spring skiing & riding right into April!

They made snow on the upper & lower mountain, refreshing our snow conditions on the most open terrain in New Hampshire. You'll also find the most terrain park features in New England right here, too! And, with a great weekend forecast, spring ticket savings and some of the season's best events coming up, make plans to join us!

Here are highlights of our upcoming events. Surf over to our events calendar for complete details.

Mar. 31 - Street Cred
We've teamed up with Red Bull to bring you one of the most unique street-style park features you'll probably ever see. Register from 10:00AM-12:00PM in the Bunyan Room, and the jam starts at 12:30PM. There will be men's and women's divisions with tons of prizes including $2,000 cash, and room to grow!

Apr. 1 - '80s Day!
Dust off your fluorescent powder suit and rear-entry boots, and we'll see you here for a really great time! We'll have the '80s music, you bring the '80s fashion and attitude! Rock out to live music with Fast Times in the Bunyan Room starting at 3:00PM.

Apr. 7 - Slush Pool Party
Don't miss our annual Slush Pool Party in the Octagon Lodge base area. Registration will be in the Bunyan Room from 9:00-10:30AM, and the event will begin at noon. It's free for the first 75 participants ages 10 and older, with a signed waiver. Everyone under age 18 must have a parent's signature on the waiver. You also must have a ticket or season pass to participate.

Apr. 7- Signature Session!
It's the final Terrain Park event of the season! Signature Session is a snowboard-only jib jam session, with great prizes on the line. Each feature has a sponsor. The person with the best trick on a feature gets a prize from the feature's sponsor. Registration is in the Bunyan Room from 10:00-11:00AM, and the jam starts at noon. The entry fee is $20, or $50 for entry fee & lift ticket. You can get $5 off with your Peeps Pass!

Apr. 8 -Easter Sunrise Service, Egg Hunt, & Pancake Breakfast!
Join us for Loon's annual sunrise service, Easter egg hunt and pancake breakfast. The day starts bright and early, with gondola boarding from 5:30-6:00AM. Gondola service for the summit sunrise service will be on a first-come, first-served basis, so get here early and dress warmly to ensure you can get to the summit in time for the outdoor service, which starts at 6:15AM!

After the service, enjoy refreshments at the Summit Cafe, then either ski or ride the gondola back to the base area for a hearty pancake breakfast served from 7:30-8:30AM.

While you're enjoying pancakes, the Easter Bunny will be hiding eggs on Lower Bear Claw for the 8:00AM Easter egg hunt.
