Second home sales surge with shift in political powers.

I'll admit there is nothing scientific about this statement. But it appears to be more than just a passing feeling. High income earners have been hording money loosely earmarked for their vacation home purchase. A customer said today..."whether things get better right away or not, we are less concerned about our hard earned cash going towards things we didn't believe in".

Time to take the Leap?

Wishful thinking on my part- maybe?  But I have seen well priced Lincoln New Hampshire property Inventory evaporate recently. Our Proximity to the Boston market helps supply qualified buyers. The North East has fared reasonably well compared to other regions of the country in terms of property value stability. Lincoln New Hampshire is one of the largest towns in the state of New Hampshire...but 95% of the town is in the White mountain national Forest preservation lands. Two hours from Boston...Vacation homes in a ski resort town with one of the lowest property taxes in the state, and real estate at prices of 10 years ago.  This sounds like a pretty good combination reasonable prices, Big mountain skiing (Loon Mt. resort) , easy access, low taxes, great bang for the buck If you're an east coast skier with a job and doesn't dream about Cape  Cod we're the place. I'm pointing out the obvious conclusion  if you live in one of the 6 New England states you know Lincoln New Hampshire and mostly likely have visited.

Loon Mt…from Mount Pemigewasset.

The picture above was taken looking back at Loon mountain - from Mount Pemigewasset. I can see The Flume, walking Boss, and Sunset have a dusting of snow  the south Mountain side has nothing yet   (November 3rd) .The Village of Lincoln NH is visible on the extreme right hand boarder of the photo...the rest as far as the eye can see is National Forest.
