Mount Moosilauke is west of town, and will be the back drop to your sunsets at the end of the day. Today was a bright blue sky day and the Mountains were glorious (so was the skiing). A busy Martin Luther King day weekend means all work and no play after today...hope you can get out and enjoy the mountains too.
The Franconia Notch state park is to the North...you can almost feel the strong winds blowing the snow off the peaks. Cannon Mountain received 27 inches of snow last week...and more is on it's way tomorrow.
To the East is the Mount Washington Valley...Loon is still running the snow guns to top off the natural snow with a bit of man-made. The mid-week guns pile it on for the three day weekend rush we get over MLK day.
