A really quick White Mountain New Hampshire Brook Hike...I snapped a few fast photos before it got too dark to see the water, woods and mossy rocks.

Some darker recesses are still very green.
A little foliage on my September brook hike.
A trickle or a rush the sound changes with each step deeper in to the woods.
This pool size opening in the forest was enough to let in a bit more light...and brighten the foliage.
The last light of the day and time to turn around...and get back to the house before dark.
Darkness descends on moving water and slippery rocks....home again and photos loaded for you to see.
