I have been doing this type of post a lot lately, but it's fall and it's absolutely beautiful in Northern New England this time of year. So I live in Woodstock New Hampshire, which is an hour north of the State Capital in Concord and just far enough away from most of the politicians and Massachusetts boarder jumpers to be considered life in the North country. Here are some of my favorite photos taken close by where I live.

The covered Bridge , mirror image reflections and a couple of Canadian Geese make for a nice composition.

Under the shade of a large oak tree the river slides quietly past.

A blue Sky Day looking north towards the Lafayette Mountain Range.

Just a hint of Color in this otherwise evergreen forest...the leaves are changing and should hit there peak around the First Day of Autumn September 22nd...Take a ride north and see the many nice views in New Hampshire.
Even when I roll into work the ride is enjoyable...the entrance ramp to the highway, it's almost too bad I only have one exit to travel before I get off to go to the office...5 miles isn't enough time to enjoy the ride.
This is my back yard, and my commute so why not make it today's White Mountain Photo Journey as well.

Very beautiful out where you live. We'll have to hop the Mass border a little further next time and check it out! ;)
Sincerely,
Kathleen
Kathleen...It will be worth the drive to see the white mountains...some of the tallest peaks in the north east are right out my door. I can travel less than two hours in any direction and be in Maine, Vermont, Canada or Massachusetts...not a bad road trip, but I'm always happy to get home.
Lots of wide open spaces and very beautiful. Love your back yard, looks like a great place to live and raise a family.
Fantastic photos, thanks for sharing!
Steve: You certainly do live in a very beautiful part of the country. Love the photo of the covered bridge.
Thanks Sandy...I appreciate you stopping by.
Chris Ann...I know these bridges are pretty rare in most places around the country now, But we have about a dozen near by that are in use every day.
Yup Steve, I agree it is beautiful where you live. Looks a little bit what I imagine heaven looks like.
Steve - As always, I'm diggin' New Hampshire.
Steve...you can't give me enough Nature pics. Love the covered bridge. The reflection is great contrast.
Tammy, Kent & Bill...Thanks ,I think I took half on these pictures without getting out of the car.
Beautiful photos not what I think of when I think of New Hampshire.
Terry & Bonnie... We get your weather a day after you have had it but that is where our two states stop being similar. My Wife is from Michigan and I am struck by the lack of mountainous terrain by your state, after all you are a northern state that boarders on Canada...but so flat in elevation.
Steve -- wonderful photos.. this is certainly a beautiful part of Northern New Hampshire.
Thanks Joan...you know it's not far from Southern NH, just get on I93 and don't stop till exit 32...
