The dinner train is a trip even when it's standing still...White Mountains NH.

Something New and Different to tempt your pallet

Station Side Fine Dinning All - Aboard

    The Cafe Lafayette Dinner Train.

When Visiting Loon Mountain Ski Area for this winter’s Recreation

How about a new dinning experience…or Après’ skiing adventure?

For years the Dinner train has ridden the rails along the Pemigewasset River leaving the Station for a five course gourmet meal was (and is) loads of fun…and a dinning adventure. The Café Lafayette offers a nice wine list, cocktails, plus a domestic and imported beer selection.

This winter the owners Lance & Leslie have decided to offer club car service in a stationary fashion. The two Story 1952 Pullman Dome cars “the Granite Eagle” will not be rolling but it just might be rocking, with great food and a fun atmosphere.

You wouldn’t have to worry about missing the train…but reservations are preferred. Dinner seating’s at 6:30 and 8:00… Call 603-745-3500

The Café Lafayette in located on Corridor 11 for those traveling on snowmobiles

The dinner train will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Holidays

For more photos and a sample of the five course menu visit the web site  /Toll free 800-699-3501

We have experienced dinner and the train ride in the summer and I’m betting  its going to be a big hit…for a change of pace for White Mountain Skiers.

If you are not visiting the White Mountains this winter...try the moving dinner train in the late spring, summer or early fall...for fabulous food, fun and the gentle rocking of a ride on the rails. (golf course shot taken while at the Jack O'Lantern ...view from the 15th green).

Wow, sounds great!  I have always loved trains, so dining on one would be a lot of fun.  Wish I could make reservations for this weekend, but if I am ever in that area...I will definitely check out the Cafe Lafayette Dinner Train.  Looks like a beautiful area!

Amy, The dinner train runs 40 feet from my front door a couple of days a week, I always see dinners having  so much fun on the train...and I have had the food, fantastic.

My grandson would love to ride the train and it sounds like the adults would enjoy it also.

Steve - THANKS!  We have a few of them here in the mountains and I had forgot all about them!  Your Cafe Lafayette Dinner Train sounds wonderful; peaceful, relaxing and GOOD food I am sure!  I am going to have to rediscover ours as well.
