The Big White Weekend...So far 18 inches have fallen, it is indiscriminate and covers all things.
The Pemigewasset River is more than 100 feet across below this bridge...but it's frozen and covered with snow this time of year.

It's hard to believe this picture was taken from the same spot on the bridge two months prior.
Three feet received so far this year, and another great ski season is underway at Loon Mountain Resort in Lincoln New Hampshire.
I'm pretty sure the pumpkins on the fronts step are still there...but under all that snow.
If you want things to stay the same throughout the year...New Hampshire weather is not for you.
If you like the green renewal of spring, Long summer days by the Stream, the colorful leaves of fall and white winters this is the place for ...I know it's the place for me. Call me about Properties in the White Mountains of New Hampshire...I'm here to help and I'm the local expert.

One of my favorite Fall Foliage Pictures...hope you all enjoy the snow.
Steve, beautiful photographs. I miss the New England seasons, that's for sure.
The White Mountains - and all of New Hampshire - is a beautiful place to visit. I tried to get my hubby to move there, but he ended up winning the debate and we're in San Diego. Thanks for posting the beautiful photos of what we're missing.
Steve...I also liked that fall picture with the covered bridge. I think I warned you the snow was on it's way....hope you had time to prepare. I bet the slopes are in great shape!
Steve any more snow and you guys are going to have to start digging tunnels ........... LOL
Bill, I own a plow truck and I'm not afraid to use it, you are my early warning system...thanks Bill
I love the w/ and w/o snow photos. The river looks great in the summer!
two months ago it seems like winter has been here forever. The photos of the same place sure give you a great comparison.
Steve, I'm not wishing you a business slow down, but hope you can sneak out during the week and enjoy some of that white stuff! Great pohotos!
Wow Steve that is a lot of snow!! Happy skiing to you and your community!!
As much as I complain about the cold and the winter driving conditions, I would really miss the four seasons of New England.
Laura...I'll get to skiing now that the Holidays are behind me!
Caren...This is a great boost to the local economy we love the snow.
Sharon...I would miss the change of seasons, but when I've had enough on the white stuff I can always fly somewhere warm.
Steve.. I like the then and now shot of the home with the garage. This is one of the reasons why I like living in New England (though I think I should move up further north) I can never have enough snow.
How has it been skiing? What a way to relax.. especially with the views you have there.
Steve, the pictures are magnificent!
The combination of water, snow and mountains is hard to beat. Thanks for letting the rest of us catch a glimpse of 'heaven'.
Michael
Love the then and now pictures. Also love the vibrant almost neon-like colors. But I don't miss them, and most especially the snow. Perfectly contact with the almost 65 degree weather, and the occasional sweater day.
:)
