The homeowner's function was a great time and having dog sled rides were just the right touch for a winter event.
Steve...the dog sled rides are a blast. My neighbor runs two different teams of dogs. I get to go along quite often!
Steve.. What a blast!! This is something my sons would love to do. I will also pass this along to friends of mine that live in Concord NH...
Looks like a lot of fun for those in your area. Good Localism post.
Val, if you or your friends ever get to the mount Washington hotel..the view is breath taking.
Sounds like lots of fun. DO the sleds come equipped with heaters?
Lora...The heat is all self generated, and up to the riders.
I help a man with his sled dogs during high school and had a blast for 2 years. It is a wonderful sport and the dogs have so much energy and all they want to do is run and make you happy.
Hi Steve! What a great activity--we have nothing like that here but, it surely does seem like it would be a fun thing to do on a cold, winter's day!
Great photos and excellent Localism presentation!
Have a wonderful Wednesday...
Debe, Thanks I try to add local value to my market area every week, it helps to be in the resort industry...and have so many recreational choices for visitors everyday
This is something I have never tried. I love the idea of it being a gift. I know a few people who this would be a great gift for. Thanks for sharing the info!
Sharon, these venues are very cool the Rocks Estate is a Christmas Tree Farm, and Mt Washington Hotel Is of course one of the most spectacular grand hotels in the East.
Now even I'd get out in the snow for that! Sounds fun, and you've got some great photos.

Hi Steve,
Good localism post for your area! We had a Malamute for for almost 11 years - Sheba was a wonderful pet companion & so smart. She sure loved the snow! We rescued her when she was a pup, and Sheba was a joy to have in our lives. Seeing those cute puppies in your photos brought back memories.
Rita
