The Two Bedroom – Three Car Garage (Carriage House is finished inside) was the first thing to go up. The Owners wanted a place to stay while the rest of the home
Was being worked on. The Main House will feature a two bedroom suite upstairs,
a two bedroom suite (with play room) down stairs and a master bedroom suite on
the main living level.

The Public areas were designed to have a 25 foot Vaulted ceiling with exposed post
And beam work with the bedrooms and lower level made use of traditional framed construction. In the Adirondack style design the use of stone in the column supports and fireplace is a key element. The Exterior finish will stay true to the Adirondack home with multiple types and applications of wood. There will be some horizontal siding, cedar shakes and board and batten designs to add texture to the Mountain
Home theme.
As With all of these South Peak Resort at Loon Mountain homes comes ski trails close by. This owner will have to walk the last fifty feet at the end of his day of skiing. He will be able to walk another 100 feet to the River for a swim when the ski season is done. If you are looking for a New England Ski home, or better yet a home you can ski-home to, your search is over.
South Peak – Home sites starting under $400,000 are still available.

Steve, nice to see some building going on. my area is dead in the water. In the county last year, POP of about 80,000 there were only 4 building permits for last year. We are hoping things are better this year. I will be watching the progress on this one.
Bill, The owner of this place has plans to do everything top shelf, it will be fun to follow the homes progress.

Bill...Talking about fireplaces...this one took over a week to build and is going to be 40+ feet tall at the peak...and have an outdoor fireplace, and two indoor fireplaces when completed.
