A trip to the city to see Chelsea Handler...Boston what a great place for a show

A Weekend away wrought with humor and tall buildings, Country Boy goes to the city to see a west coastcomedian perform on the east coast. Boston is a supper city to walk, shop , eat and see wonderful attractions. The Harbor, the Italian North end, China town, Government center and Copley Plaza all figured in to out city plans.

If you have never seen Chelsea Handler's show Chelsea aremissing some really off beat, satirical and potty mouthed humor. The E-Network allows Miss Handler to say and do things on her 11pm show most ladies would turn red just thinking about. The Wang center in Boston played host to a two show schedule Saturday...and all that came got their moneys worth (and have a few new words to Google when they get home). Thanks Chelsea you and Heather (long Boobs) McDonald had us rolling in the isles.

We were told no cameras and complied, we did see many others taking pictures during the show and wish we had not been the goodie two shoes for this one time.

On with the rest of the weekend, We stayed in the Harbor Side Inn which is across the street from the Long Wharf and the New England Aquarium. The State street location is a block from Faneuil Hall and the Quincy Market place.

Great Food (at the Cheers bar) fun street performances for the whole family (unlike the comedian we saw later...not for children language at Miss Handler's show).

This was the view of a mirrored high-rise across from the Hotel my wife and I stayed at, taken from our 8th floor window pretty cool reflection of the city all around us.

Cheers to Boston for the fun time away from the office this weekend, thanks to my wife for always making the day better and Chelsea...What can I say you are a hoot and not many people have ever made me blush, but you did.

P.S. Thanks Andy for asking my wife to step behind the bar so you could give her an Apple Martini guys and Cheers Rock. Let me know if you need ski tickets next season.

Kevin & Jennifer, When you are used to seeing a censored T.V. show, then you are witness to the live rendition it is just off the hook.

Steve...I love a good comedian.  Nothing relaxes me more than to listen to some off the wall humor.  This lady is very good, but I have yet to see her close to me.

Steve.. I went to college in Boston.  Boy has it changed over the years.  Glad to see you made it to Cheers in the Back Bay part of Boston.  Hope you had a drink for me.  LOL.

Steve, Boston has a ton of things to do, but my favorite thing to do in Boston is to go see the Red Sox lose, which they do every time I go to a game :)
