This seller’s commitment to quality and repair goes over board. Why use the best materials and labor on a home project with such diligence when your only goal is to sell? I understand you leave you name behind on the deed as the seller of the property, but the effort expended would indicate there is more to the story.
Who re-does a house from top to bottom only to accept the market will ultimately dictate the value? I have found a rare seller who thinks of his properties as more than the sum of their parts. What more could be done to a 1970’s ranch, you have eclipsed the return on your investment long ago?
Because your family name is well know in town, because you can’t leave a job half done, because what you build will forever be associated with the quality of your work…or is it, that your personality simply wouldn't allow you to put a fixer-up on the market not fixed right??
Only someone with a building background will appreciate what has been done to “This Old House” to make it new in almost every way.
New Roof, entirely covered in Rubber membrane, then top quality asphalt shingled
New Vinyl siding, the heaviest gages available on the market for long lasting finish
New kitchen Cabinets, flooring and refinished red oak hardwoods throughout
New Carpet in the bedrooms, and three seasons sun room, new sunroom heater.
New Garage door, walk-way pavers and poured concrete front steps.
New Driveway, New Town water and sewer lines and foundation drains.
New Electrical entrance, repairs to plumbing, wiring and central A/C systems.
Someone looking for a turn-key place in the White Mountains of New Hampshire…I have a great place for you. Bring your building inspector; at your own risk…you may end up in a bidding war with him after he looks at this place. Asking $219,900 MLS# 4011990 / www.alpinelakes.com

I have not been able to load any additional photos as of today...but this house has been re-done from top to bottom and needs nothing in the way of repairs.
Hi Steve, this looks like a great deal! It is hard to find a well built home! Tiffany
Tiffany, Some lucky buyer will end up with a place there is nothing to do but enjoy the fruits of someoneles' labor.
Steve, I got to say that I identify with that, I can see doing anything on the cheep, and quality is the only way to go, whether or not I ever get my money back.
Steve - Looks like a solid home. Best of luck with it. I have not had that problem with uploading pics today but at least you got one of em up right?
Bob, I posted the draft with one photo a couple of days ago and waited for the carpet and interior to be done. when it finally was I couldn't up-load them...funny the way these things work. I guess I'll have to write another post for the photos when the glitch is gone.
I've had a couple of listings like that over the years. One where the sellers had a sense of pride in their work and their home and remodeled using nothing but the best and then priced at what the market would bare. Makes for a nice home for someone. Looking forward to you being able to upload inside photos when AR is working right again.
Steve ~ I'm looking forward to those additional photos. The exterior looks quite nice.
Tammy & Dawn, I look forward to posting them for those interested enough to revisit my "Re-Done Ranch" blog.
That is an incredible list of updates and upgrades to the home, Steve! And the price? That is even more incredible - fantastic new listing!
Leesa, We have a lot of condos here in the resort area...a home like this with no fees and no work needed will be a great buy for a buyer looking to relax and not do repairs.
I would probably be all over that if I lived near there. This is someone who has the same ADHD as me. Perfectionism. But, gotta love it. And, it seems he knows he will have to take market value no matter. Should fly off the shelf.
Steve:
Someone is going to get a wonderful home that has been lovingly updated and repaired. It is always nice to represent a property like this one.
Suzanne & Claudette, I look forward to showing you the inside of this place, some great up-dates on this house.
Steve, great looking home and a cool presentation i might add, best of luck for a quick sale
Bill, pride is something professionals never abandon even when the market gets tough.
