Loved this train trestle bridge, along the 5th hole of the Owls Nest Golf Course - enjoy the photo journey.
This bridge is old and has served it purpose for many years,,,the train track still get it's use by a tourist line in the spring, summer and fall...and it becomes a snowmobile corridor when winter sets in. you can travel from Lake Winnipasaukee to the Canadian boarder on this rail line.

White Mountain golf ...nearing the last round of the season...Closing 11/14/10 and skiing will open the following week. We hate to wait for the seasons to fully change we force them. We move on to the next recreational choice offered by the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Alpine Golf is not something everyone gets a chance to experience...Love the views.

16th hole big down hill carry and hard to see the green at sunset.
I hate to admit that the dark has taken away the time to golf for another year...go out at 2 and not get 18 holes done. Sad but time marches on. Ever have the chance to play the Owls Nest Golf Course in Campton New Hampshire...I recommend it as one of the best Mountain view courses in the Northeast.

Good-night...sunset on the golf season.
As always, beautiful photos of the glory of our precious earth!!
Steve ~ these are just gorgeous!!! They have left me speechless.
Steve, your photos really make me want to visit New Hampshire. Beautiful...as always!
Steve...
Wow ... how can you play golf with such beautiful distractions?
Richard...It is a distraction, but as you know once you've been a Realtor as long as I have I can't get away from the real estate as well. Or parent company has built many of these homes...and I have personally sold some of the sites along the course.
Like Richard says. I am thinking it could be a good excuse for my poor scores. ;-}
Great views of Owls Nest, Steve! Looks like a great place and don't fret - Spring will be here before you know it so you can get your 18 holes in before night fall!
Steve, I like all of your photo's, but the second is very nice. I enjoy golfing in the fall because of the coolness...only draw back are the leaves and shortened days....bet Ed Silva would like this course...of course Ed would like any course.
Steve, it has to be getting cold up there, but I guess nothing keeps Golfers off of the golf course.
