While the snowbird's are away - I have a place for you to come and stay.
What you need to know up front!!
This location is not for everyone...If you cry when you break a finger nail - this place is not for you. I don't want you to be under the impression it's rustic, no to the contrary it's luxury living - But it's a bit remote.
If you don’t have 4-Wheel Drive – this is not for you!
The owners will share the plowing contract cost with the winter renters...the quarter mile driveway is tough but it leads to an incredible home with wonderful views and no other homes in sight (no traffic sounds either).
On a snowmobile trail and 8 miles to Loon Mt ski area.
We are not talking about a camp here either, this is a custom post & Beam home with three bedrooms, a loft , a
cherry cabinet kitchen, living room with fireplace, den with a second fireplace, one car garage under, and a wall of south facing window.
Since the owners go to Florida every winter, they like to keep the place occupied…and offer a six month lease for $7,500 (plus half the plowing and the cost of utilities).
Cost of your share of the plowing and all the winter utilities are estimated to run less than $2,500...so for under $10,000. You can have the home away from home for the winter in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
...Southern views from the deck.
No other homes insight!! With no lights...the stars are incredible at night.

SWEET! Now I just have to be able to leave in the winter and not have to work. I can get a snowmobile and be living large!
Steve----it's a perfect place for an artist or writer....hope you rent it soon.
Larry, that is the trick isn't it...how to do what you like and still make a living. I have a friend who runs a ski shop in the winter and lives on a sail boat from April till November in the BVI's...nice life. I also know a couple who runs a summer drive-in restaurant...and they ski everyday in the winter. It can be done!!
Looks beautiful Steve...but you know me and winter!
Steve, sounds like a beautiful place but a 1/4 mile driveway accumulates a lot of snow :)
Could be your own mini sky slope .......... LOL
Steve...this home bleeds Mother Nature! Sounds like an area even I would enjoy.
George...I have had to hike in when the weather is bad...the owner use to leave a snow mobile at the bottom of the driveway and park down below when it snowed - but with a good plowing contract it's not a problem.
