10/10/11 Foliage - Franconia Notch State park - taken from Woodstock NH

I don't believe I have to say too much about this shot. I wish the pond I have been digging in my back yard for four years was done - but that is the only thing that could improve this foliage photo enjoy the colors of northern New England my friends. It should be pretty for another two week...then it will be on the ground, and raking begins.

Woodstock New Hampshire - Pemigewasset River valley - a couple of miles from Loon & Cannon mt ski areas.

Gorgeous...and something we just don't really get to enjoy out here in the "rugged" west.  At least not in San Francisco.

Thanks Guys...It would be nice if it stay this way until it snowed...but we have to go through the "brown - dead season" first.

Steve ~ gorgeous photo and view.  You have been digging your own pond in your backyard for four years?

Dawn...Yes unfortunately - but mainly because my contractor hasn't needed the material for big projects so he just digs when he needs something.
