Ski slope or waterfront location when to new build or knock down

When the Market gets hot, and your not ready to settle for just any is time to consider a knock down or new build. In Lincoln New Hampshire we face a unique set of circumstances, we are situated in one of the largest geographic sized towns in the state. "BUT"...95% of the town is either White Mountain national Forest or State park land. This means we are reaching a time when knocking down an existing home or building new on a vacant lots starts to be in the mix.

If you wish to be slope side there are a few existing options, most were built in the 80's and are pretty outdated. But the South Peak on Loon (home above shown) still has a few vacant sites that your custom designed Adirondack style home can be delivered.

OPTION #2 the Knock Down....

Harvard Brook

This Home Listed at $179,900 sits on 400 Feet of Water frontage and is a large enough site to support a subdivision making it two lots. It is an older home that has seen better days...but it offers town water and town sewer to the site and is only a few miles to Loon mt and Cannon Mt ski areas.

When the real estate market gets hot, and living with what is available for re-sale is not going to cut it... it may be time to build new or knock down old. Give me a call we have an in-house design build company that has build half the homes on South Peak...and many of the 80's locations back then.

Steve gorgeous photos! I love the area you live in - it reminds me of my Vail days! Our area as well (albeit vastly differnt from your area) is experiencing a number of tear downs and building a big new home that suits today's buyer needs.

Anna... I spent some time at Vail myself and it brings back memories. We don't have Rocky mountains back east, but we can drive from Boston in 2 hours.

The slope of the summer is right here in paradise as far as I'm concerned based on this photo set. A
