Campton NH Covered bridge..love these photos

The Simplicity and strait forward message on the sign, is something of yesterday

The Post and Beam Work has held up for over 100 years, this spans the Pemigewasset River.

Last shot of the Bridge exterior ,less than a mile from Exit 27 of Interstate 93. Take a minute when traveling north on your next New Hampshire White mountain ski trip, or site seeing tour and stop by this Campton site.

One Last Picture, This one is from Holderness NH. off Rte 175..close to Squam Lake..where the Movie Golden Pond was filmed.. Cool Farm Stand..

The Farmer uses Mannequins to keep things fun and colorful, at this road side stand..The back roads of New Hampshire are a great place to find photo opportunities and historic subjects year after year.

We have tons of covered bridges here in Oregon as well. They're really cool! And I love the idea for using mannequins at the farm stand! How inventive is that??

Great Photos!  Wow - over 100 years and looking pretty good.  I love everything from the 1800's to the mid 1900's.  Makes me think about who built this - all my hand - blood, sweat and tears for many people back then.  Thanks for sharing!

Thanks All. Sticking with the Bridge theme, I have a train track on my property, and own 2,000 feet along the river this is a trestle crossing where the Dinner Train passes on to my land (summer only).

I can set my watch by the dinning car's passing by my house.

How many fines do they collect every year. $5.00 can add up quickly.

Hi Steve,

Great pictures! I love covered bridges; they are beautiful and have so much history to them. I love the train trestle picture too from your property--that must be pretty cool to see. And I'm thinking you should be the monitor of the $5 fines--you could probably make a lot of cash that way, LOL!

Have a great day,

Steve, awesome!  Problem for me would be talking to the mannequins after hanging out in the bar at the lodge!  What's the dinner train?
